Kevin Hogan, 19, has been a volunteer with Wild Blue since 2012. Kevin has high functioning autism and some learning challenges. Fortunately, Lauri Cross made a connection with Kevin and invited him to begin volunteering at the rescue in 2012.  At first, Kevin only worked at the shelter, with assistance. Over the years, he has progressed to working the cat adoption fairs without any need for supervision. For Kevin, this is a major accomplishment and we are all indebted to Wild Blue and Lauri for giving Kevin this opportunity to learn and grow.

In addition to his volunteering at Wild Blue, Kevin has work experience with Dreamcatchers, Pikes Peak BOCES, Air Force Academy horse stables and The DaVinci Academy. Kevin is a gold medal powerlifter with Special Olympics and loves this sport! Finally, Kevin is the proud owner of a WBARS cat … Mr. Roosevelt … adopted in 2013.
