UPDATE! Dahlia has been adopted!
From Dahlia’s foster mom:
“[Dalhia’s Adopters] came to meet her last night and just fell in love with her!! They came as I was giving her a bath, so saw that process. Helped me get her into a new diaper and then saw her walk around and play a little. They loved all of her – her sweet melt your heart eyes and face to her little sassy attitude while getting a diaper on. I can’t say how much it makes my heart happy that they opened their hearts to our sweet girl.”
Meet Dahlia, our special needs girl!
She’s 1 1/2 years old, spayed, micro chipped and vaccinated and has come to us from the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. She’s had a rough start to life but is a happy girl so deserving of a home! Dahlia had a bad fall as a young kitten and suffered a spinal injury. At first, she couldn’t walk but now she is an energetic, bouncy girl. She is super sweet. She chirps, meows and loves to play.
She still has problems resulting from her injury though. Her muscles don’t work in her hind end, so she needs to have her bladder expressed two to three times a day. Lots of times, she poops while being expressed, and sometimes when sleeping. She has been wearing a diaper with suspenders recently and doesn’t seem to mind at all. She goes about her day hanging out with all her kitty friends in foster and life is good!
She’d love to find that purrfect home with some kitty friends and a family who can handle her daily needs. To find out more information about Dahlia or to meet her, reach out to us at 719-900-CATS(2287) or by email at contact@wbcats.org. Thanks!
