Hi Wild Blue Friends,

My name is Chris and I am fairly new to Wild Blue.  I have been volunteering on the TNR team. I enjoy working with people, being outside and helping cats live happy lives.  Whenever I am out trapping cats I learn something new every time. Cats are amazing animals and many times misunderstood when they are living outside as community cats.

I have two Main Coon mix brothers that I rescued 8 years ago in Texas. My sister talked me into adopting two kittens instead of just one and at the time I thought she was crazy.  But it was one of the best decisions I have made because they are always there for each other and I cannot be with them all the time. They are great playmates, groom each other and learn from each other.  My boys, as I call them are kind of like dogs in cat bodies. They come when I call them and meet me at the door when I come home. Boaz and Lewis fill my home with life, love and laughter!

When I am not out trapping cats I am a chaplain in the city and leading a corps of chaplains working all over Colorado Springs in different capacities. I am also taking a two year program learning about soul care.  I love hiking, bird watching and sharing meals with friends.
