My name is Andy, and I volunteer on weekly cleaning shifts and twice-weekly socialization shifts. From the shelter, I’ve also adopted Yeoh and Xiomara-Lissette. I am very fortunate that they seem to get along wonderfully.
I joined up for the pleasantly simple reason that I really enjoy getting to interact with felines. I’ve previously volunteered at a shelter in Fort Collins, and I’m thoroughly glad to help with the basic legwork that a shelter needs to run smoothly. Fair to say that I am truly honored to clean and socialize among such great folks with similar passions! I’ve been with Wild Blue on and off since September of last year, so I’d still consider myself one of the “new kids.” For reference – Everyone’s buddy Otero was rotated out of the showroom a day or so after I started. You remember Otero, right? Of course you do. (wink)
Anyway – I’m from out of state originally, but moved to the Denver area fairly early on in life. I’ve lived in Fort Collins before I moved to Colorado Springs for work. Outside of the wild world of felines, I have a passion for technology… computers, cars, critiquing courtroom dramas on network television, you name it!
