Meet our September 2022 Kitty of the Month…..Zafon!

Meow! I’m Zafon. I’m a DSH black and white kitty, born approximately 4/01/21. Back in Roswell, NM where I was found, life was scary and I was cautious around humans. Then I was treated for ringworm so my wariness intensified. Later, it was evident that my mouth sensitivity needed attention, so I had a dental and further care for stomatitis. I have no teeth now but I love my soft food and Churu treats! So… I’ve been through a lot and there’s been some ups and downs in my comfort and trust, but I’ve relaxed, and I am getting my groove on. I am comfortable around my loving humans who show me how fun it is to play with the wand toys and who give me lots of pets. I LOVE to play and being able to release that energy chasing Da Bird toy or wands is good for me, so I can better enjoy the softer side of your hands during petting. I am counting on that loving tenderness and attention to continue when I get adopted, so I can become the most confident and trusting kitty ever. I will probably do well with older gentle teens, and another cat who likes to play and snuggle as long as you follow the introduction procedures provided by Wild Blue Cats!.
