Meet our January 2023 Kitty of the Month…..Noughty-Yasmeen!
This beautiful lady is lovingly called Noughty-Yasmeen. (Pronounced Noo-tee) She is a unique senior DSH Tortoiseshell and has learned to like indoor life.
Her story starts as a feral stray in Pueblo, trapped by a Wild Blue supporter who knew Noughty needed medical help and she neared birthing time.
She was housed in Kaylene’s Kradle after recovering from a dental surgery with full mouth extractions and soon had 5 babies.
It was a team effort to help her raise her kittens as they all moved on to being adopted, and Noughty moved to the outdoor enclosure Maya’s Village.
Her health declined and she was taken into foster and during her care Noughty became more comfortable with human touch.
Her chronic congestion is still a challenge, however daily treatment with supplements helps support her immune system and reduce flare-ups.
Once comfortable with new human friends, she loves to be syringed water, and with a soft approach she does enjoy petting and brushing.
She is not one to snuggle with other kitties and prefers her own bed. She is affected by changes in her environment and needs extended time
and stability to feel safe.
She would enjoy the opportunity to live in a quiet adult-only home where the stress level is much lower, and she can
experience more care-free days.
If you can give her that opportunity, please fill out an adoption application at: wbcats.org/adopt/
Adoption requires an approved application, signed contract, favorable interview and payment of all fees.
