Wild Blue Cats! is at it again! Our angel heroes Brandi and Marni are almost back from their second trip to Roswell in 2023! What a way to start out the year, rescuing a total of 46 kitties from Roswell, NM! The first trip had them rescuing 17, including a kitty who had a harness embedded around her body from growing into it since a
kitten! This time they are returning with 29, including one who Good Samaritan Ashley B rescued from a terrible situation out in the middle of nowhere!! As Ashley explains:“ Today we went to look at a piece of land RANDOMLY in the middle of no where while Forrest needed a nap in the van. Got to the land. Walked around. 30 min later we Noticed the land has Rv hook ups so we are looking around checking things out some more. And as we get closer we notice a cat is stuck in the black tank RV Poop tubes. Head completely stuck and it’s back end showing 
. In true Ashley fashion, I couldn’t leave it. So we got the black tube disconnected and the rhino ring was stuck around its neck still. We couldn’t get it off. . So we called every vet in the area and got no where. So we called the non emergency police number – they sent us to animal control and we were able to cut some of the ring off a little better and they are going to take her to get medical attention for some infections. No clue how long this sweet babe was in there for. But thanking God and all the stars that we just so happened to travel out and look at this piece of land today. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. GOD

.”When Wild Blue arrived at RAC we were told about this kitty and Brandi and Marni went and took her from the vet who was able to remove the ring around her neck! We named her Enigma since it is an enigma how she ended up with her head stuck in the middle of nowhere south of Roswell!
