Hi I’m Charlotte!
I’ve been with the Wild Blue sanctuary for about a year now and it has been an honor to be able to help with such an amazing operation! I truly love all animals but have always had a special soft spot for cats.
Before moving to Colorado in 2020 I had lived on the Mississippi Gulf Coast where I helped run a much needed spay and neuter program. I’ve been involved in rescue for about 20 years now and hope to have my own sanctuary one day!
I have the most amazing teenager, Connor, who volunteers at the sanctuary as well! I also have two adult sons and an incredible best friend whom have all been involved in rescue in one way or another.
Here in Colorado we have a condo so my chihuahua, McKinley and Leela, my big beautiful one-eyed cat, are the only pets living with me but I’m hoping to become a wild blue special needs foster in the future.
I’m eager to explore the world and love being outdoors. McKinley comes along in a backpack and I’m currently convincing Leela to use a harness and leash. I’m a firm believer in spreading the word about spay and neuter and encouraging people to adopt not shop!
