Moving to a few days between updates as the 18 kittens continue to heal and grow with their foster families.
The next big day for our 18 kittens will be on Tues October 10th, our veterinarian will assess the kittens’ eyes to determine which can be saved and which kittens have eyes that are so damaged they won’t heal. The surgeries to remove any eyes that are still damaged beyond healing will also take place on the 10th. We won’t know costs for these upcoming surgeries until the 10th so any help prior to that date will be greatly appreciated!
We are seeing daily improvement with kittens playing, purring, and eating well. Now that they are all doing much better general health wise the fosters are working on getting the basic medical needs of the kittens met. Dewormer and FVRCP vaccines are being given to all the kittens to make sure they continue to stay healthy as they continue to heal.
Continued donations will be utilized for the upcoming eye removal surgeries on some of the kittens and vet exams for all of them. We appreciate all who have donated and shared to this point! Next update on Friday!
