Cat-A-Day – Day four – Meet Yarda- Yarda is a 6.5 year old gray tabby, Quotes from the volunteers, she loves full body pets and really loves her belly rubbed. She will roll over and purr, purr, purr.
Hello! I’m Yarda, a DSH grey tabby born approximately 03/20/17. I was a mama to 5 kittens, and we all came from Texas and found new homes. I recently returned to Wild Blue and I am getting to know everyone again. I am comfortable with all kinds of loving strokes and I even roll over for belly rubs. I may look grouchy but I am really a lovable young lady. I’m not one to show too much emotion with my eyes, and I’m always watching your movements, but don’t let that deter you from giving me some attention. I do enjoy it! I prefer a quiet home where I can develop a strong trusting relationship with my human where my environment is stable and consistent.
Change is stressful for me. Therefore, an adult home without active visitors and loud alarming noises helps me relax. I like hanging out in my own independent space away from other kitties too. I am currently on a special diet (dry and wet food) for food sensitivities to try to relieve my excessive scratching. Are you willing to keep me on my special food and work with me to develop a bonding relationship with you? When you introduce me into a new home, please follow WBCats instructions and grant me extended time to gradually move thru each stage of the process, so that together we make our bond forever.
If we are a good fit, please fill out an adoption application at www.wbcats.org/adopt.
