Meet our September Kitty of the Month, Teddington!
Hello, I’m Teddington! I’m a male domestic shorthair with a striking black coat featuring a unique white triangle on my chest and a charming salt and pepper look. Born around 4/06/2011 I’ve grown into a mature, loving cat with a lot of affection to give. My previous family loved me dearly but could no longer keep me, so now I’m searching for a new home where I can continue to share my love and companionship. I am a special needs cat due to my inability to hear. Despite being deaf, I don’t let it dampen my spirits; in fact, it just makes me even more special. I tend to get startled sometimes because I can’t hear the background noise when someone is approaching me. I need a home where my adopter will protect me from unsafe situations. I am also trying out a medicine called Solensia to ease my mobility and comfort.
I am a quintessential lap cat and absolutely adore being held. Cuddles and affection are my favorite things, and I thrive on close contact with people. I’m incredibly sweet and loving, always ready to show my gratitude with purrs and gentle nuzzles. I love people and fit perfectly into any family looking for a calm and affectionate feline friend. My loving nature and calm demeanor make me a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys quiet evenings with a warm, furry friend on their lap. I would probably do best in a home with older teenage children and adults. I would prefer a dog free home. I realize taking on an older gentleman like me can give you pause to think, but I know I am worth it! If you’re looking for a loyal and loving cat who will be a devoted companion, I might just be the one for you!
