My name is Lynnlee. I am a passionate cat rescuer who has dedicated my life to caring for animals. I have 5 cats and 2 dogs that are my entire world. My love for animals began in childhood and has only grown stronger over the years. I am committed to TNR and providing a safe and loving environment for stray and feral cats. I have deep compassion and dedication towards rescue which has inspired others to support animal welfare and make a difference in the lives of animals in need.
I enjoy hiking, painting, reading, writing and rescuing animals most of all. I am actively involved in cat rescue efforts with Wild Blue Cats, often guiding others on how to contribute. I’ve found a deep understanding of the human-animal bond, leading me to publish a book on navigating grief related to pet loss. The book is called, “Life After Pet Loss: Coping with the Loss of a Beloved Companion”, which is about a lot more than just dealing with loss and about celebrating the love and joy pets bring into our lives. Society often fails to recognize the depth of the human-animal bond. I believe that understanding and acknowledging our grief can lead us towards healing and growth.
I am so thankful and proud to be a Wild Blue Cats advocate and make a difference in the lives of felines in Colorado.
