Meow, meow! My name is Delhi and I’m an adult (DOB 6/10/12) domestic long hair orange girl who was abandoned at a vet clinic before Wild Blue came to my rescue. I’m the March Kitty of the Month celebrating all those who are Irish or wish that they were. My beautiful red locks would be the envy of any Irish Lass. Because I had become very depressed while at the clinic, I had stopped grooming my fur, and they shaved me just before I was taken into foster care. My silky fur has now mostly grown out and I have adjusted well into a happy, friendly kitty ready for a forever home.
My foster family says, “Although Delhi would probably be happiest as only cat, she has gotten along with the cats in our foster home although her attempts to play by jumping out from around corners at them has not gone as well as she would have liked with a couple of them. She has never met a dog so probably should not go to a home with a dog since the barking she heard at the vet clinic frightened her.”
Like most Irish women I can be very sweet, but I can also be a bit temperamental. I love pets and tuna treats, until I’ve decided I have had enough, then I may swat you to be certain you know my mood.
I’m up to date on my vaccinations, have been spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and my FELV/FIV test was negative for both.
