Hi friends, my name is Vicky!  I was born and raised in England and I moved to Colorado Springs in 2005. I have an amazing cat loving husband, Ben and 2 boys, Owen and Luke along with 3 WB rescues Callie, Luna and Zak.  I have adored cats for as long as I can remember and always had them as pets growing up.  I began fostering for Wild Blue in April 2020 and haven’t been without a kitten since. During my time with Wild Blue we have been home for 38 babies.

I enjoy being on the socialization team and the adoption fair teams but my absolute favorite is fostering, especially pregnant mamas.  Since my boys are so young fostering and caring for these babies us been such a valuable lesson for them. Owen especially loves playing with the kittens for hours at a time, he’s so gentle and kind to them.  Before WB I didn’t realize how many cats and kittens are in need, now I feel I had to help ALL the cats! We are so honored and proud to be part of such an amazing organization and all it does for the feline world.

I am a preschool director; I run a local Montessori school of about 175 kiddos. In my spare time, when I’m not snuggling kittens, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and spending time outdoors with my family.
