Meet our October 2022 Kitty of the Month…..Suzi Quatro!
Meet Suzi Quatro! She is a unique DSH grey female with a small patch of white on her chest. Her estimated DOB is 7/02/17. Her previous owner was moving to Hawaii and couldn’t find her another home so asked Wild Blue for help. Some of her unique features are similar to the Korat breed, with her heart-shaped face, large eyes, and body structure. She has strong connections with her human friends and demands lap time, so if you sit down, your lap is hers. She thoroughly enjoys her petting and attentions, and is always close by willing to share her love with you. She may give a “love nip” or a paw swat to communicate dislikes, like when you stop petting and she wants more. She has exhibited stress-related habits of pulling out her fur (and over-grooming), especially when around other kitties, and this behavior has improved when isolated from other felines. Human companionship also helps reduce her stress, and is really what she desires. She is not fond of being scuffed but is ok being held, and recently had a dental cleaning with 3 teeth removed. She has been on a monitored food schedule, to get back to her proper weight for her build, and needs close attention and NO free feeding bowls. She is looking for her special someone to dedicate time and love just for her, and be her forever person. She slept with her previous owner, and will undoubtedly expect to sleep with her new forever person too. She’s had experience with a dog, but again expects all the attention to be placed on her, not the dog.
