Meet Bilberrys! He’s a very sweet and sturdy DSH dark grey and white male, born approximately 9/29/21. He is a little timid when meeting new human friends, and changes in his environment initially lead him to preferring a safe cubby for a bit. However, once comfortable, he ventures out to enjoy human attention and caresses all over his body. He is food motivated and loves Churu treats, and this is a good way to become quick friends. He did ok in a smaller room with independent, non-competitive kitties, and his sweet personality shined. Now that he is in a larger area with many more cats and more activity, he is a bit overwhelmed and at times assertive with other competitive cats. He is not a candidate for a loud active household or with young children and he will be much happier if he is the only kitty in the home to love. He needs a slow hand and understanding, and plenty of time to acclimate to the routines in a new home. He needs a patient, calm and consistent environment to relax in and feel secure. Please follow the steps outlined in Wild Blue’s instructions when he goes to his new home. He is a cuddle bug just waiting for the right person to make him feel safe.
